Cook Smarter, Not Harder— One Recipe at a Time
It’s no secret that we all need to eat. But most of us (whether we’ll admit it to ourselves or not) don’t like cooking because it seems hard. There’s an endless list of dishes you can make in any number of cuisines, but each one requires its own unique combination of ingredients and techniques to ensure a delicious end-result instead of something that tastes… edible (at best). So instead, we opt for ordering takeout or buying frozen pre-made food, neither of which are as cheap or healthy as making meals from scratch.
I may be a professional chef now, but I started out the same way everyone does – unsure how to boil water or cook an egg. I was lucky enough to have parents that were skilled in the kitchen and could show me the ropes, and my hope is to pay it forward by sharing what I’ve learned with you.
Learning to cook doesn’t have to be intimidating. At its core, cooking is just science in action. (No chemistry quizzes here though, I promise). I’ll teach you what’s happening on a fundamental level – the why behind the recipe so you understand what steps you have to execute by the book and what you can fudge. The more you practice, the more you’ll find yourself thinking like a chef: new flavor fusions you want to try, creative uses for leftovers, how to shop smarter to cut down on ingredient costs and repeat meals, the list goes on.
I’m here to help with recipes for all occasions, along with weekly menu planning and corresponding grocery lists. My goal is for you to ditch repetitive meal prep (because who likes eating the same thing four days in a row?) without spending your life at the stove and take control over nourishing yourself and your loved ones.
